Synod ASsembly Worship—Message by Rev. Dr. Jeff Chu
Come forward and stretch out your hand.
“The End and the Beginning”
The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ…and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
We eat the Body to become the Body.
God meets us in the wilderness and prepares us for the road ahead.
Jesus breaks bread in love for all.
Our job is to trust the good shepherd, who protects and provides.
Fear, hatred, anger, and greed are bad advisors.
Don’t put a period where God puts a comma.
God’s love grows where it’s planted.
The Church isn’t a family—it should be BETTER than family.
Come forward and stretch out your hand.
The Holy Trinity—the God we know but will never understand.
The Holy Spirit—like a wild goose or a peaceful dove?
God comes down the mountain.
Taking God’s light into the world.
The beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ…and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
And then suddenly I realize…I’m Judas, too!
